Sonya World

I started playing Millsberry.com games today. It is an advergame, which means that it is a game to advertise some product. This game was created by General Mills.

I went to the site where I could build a house and decorate it. I started with a bedroom and then built the kitchen. There was a refrigerator in there. I opened the refrigerator and valla… it has Go-Gurts in it; I guess go-gurt must be made by General Mills. There were other signs of different products all around in the game.

Then my dad and I went on a hunt in the kitchen to find things that are made by General Mills and it was amazing!

They say you are what you eat, then I must be half made up of General Mills Stuff!

Haagen Daz, Yopliat, Cinnamon Cruch, Gushers, Betty Crocker, Pillusbury, Coloumbo, Fruit Rollups, Gushers and the list just went on and on!

I am not allowed to watch the Simpson Show and I find the little guy kind of annoying too!

But if I were a character in that show, this is what I would look like!

Not sure if everything matches or not but my earrings are exactly the same as in this Simpsonized-avatar.

We get this magazine called Symmetry, and it had a funny chart of various particles on it.

We were joking that if we were little particles, my name would probably be Sonino!

Well, I went hunting for Higgs today!

Higgs are these little particles that are supposed to exist but no body has seen them yet. There is a new machine coming that will try to find Higgs.

So played this game where they show you the tracks the particles make and then you try to figure out if it could be Higgs.

I picked 9 tracks and out of those, one was a possible Higgs.

Looks like I am getting a huge chess set for my birthday. That would be so cool, we can play in the garden or in the balcony. We can even take it on the beach!

The party for my birthday is at an ice rink on the 22nd. See you there!

Liz Clairborne, a great clothing designer died last week.

The funny thing is that last week my mom and I went to Macy’s and she needed some sunglasses and I helped her pick one out. The one that we both liked had the logo LC on the side and thats when I heard about Liz Clairborne.

Out of hundreds of pairs of sunglasses we both picked something designed by the same person!

Later my dad told me that even I have some clothing designed by Liz Clairborne company; he pulled out this beautiful black skirt with intricate flowery embroidery on it; sure enough it was from the Liz Claiborne Kids Collection. He told me that she designed stuff that was practical and charming. Her company was the first company founded by a woman listed in Fortune 500 list.
