2007 Year in Review of happenings in the SonyaWorld
January: January was awesome! I was in India for the first part of the month and celebrated NewYear’s day in Delhi. When I got back to Los Angeles, the Christmas tree was still up, and there were several presents for me! There was the little white square box, called Wii and there was a little blue brick like thing called a cell phone! Wohoo! I entered the communication age!
OK, in January I also got the Tamagochi v.4 but my poor little digital pet kept dying on me! I gave him a little pause and kept playing the sports game on the Wii.
February: February was more like Wiiburuary - I played a lot of Wii but then I got interested in Chess. I even beat my dad in one of the games! I also went to Mount Baldy and did sledding on a broken bucket. It sounds silly but it was a lot of fun.
March: 14th March is the international Pi day, so we had a pie. Played Uno and then started reading Harry Potter books. Another interesting thing I did was solve some Fermi Problems. And then, on March 27th, I got my webkinz. Not one but two: a matched pair of Coco and Stickers.
April: April was Spring break time and we went on a long trip to Grand canyons, petrified forests and lake Havasu. I even got to ride the jet ski. The water was a bit cold but we had the greatest of time. I tried Pinkberry yogurt which I did not particularly like. Although when I tried it again just a few weeks ago, it didn’t taste too bad.
May: May was memorable - I got my ears pierced. In fact, it was my present to my mom for mother’s day. The ear piercing didn’t hurt as much as I expected it to. There was a huge fire not too far from our house and we could see the whole mountain side in flames and there was an orange glow in the sky. We were in no danger, but it was still scary.
June: I started horseback riding in June, thats all I remember! Oh, I started taking golf lessons too!
July: Aha, my birthday month! We had planned a party for July 10th, but school was out and we decided to postpone it to September. I did get a lots of great presents though.
August: I went to Montessori school for a few week but didn’t particularly like it too much. I got interested in drawing and since I was watching Pokemon shows, I started to draw Pokemon. They are cute and cuddly little creature. Continued with my golf lessons, horseback riding and tennis.
September: September is kind of blurry. I started school and we have a really nice teacher. I do remember seeing a huge gorgeous double rainbow across the sky and funny thing was that I could actually see the end of the rainbow - unfortunately, there was no pot of gold at the end of rainbow!
October: We celebrated my birthday in October and got delicious cakes mango mousse and Persian Chocolate cake. The party was at the the ice skating rink and we all had a great time and the cake was a great hit. A few days after the party I found out that my friend Kristen got hurt at the rink and broke her arm (sorry Kristen). She has recovered now.
November: I went to India in November and that’s the best time to go to India. The festival season is on and I had so much fun. I played fireworks, I played with my cousins, I watched Pokemon in Hindi, I learned a little about how to write from my aunt Bonita who has written so many books!
December: I should call it Pokember! My dad took me to Pokemon league meeting and on a whim, without any preparation, I decided to go to the Pokemon city tournament! I didn’t even have a good deck - we made one out of the cards that we had. And surprisingly, I actually won one game. For Christmas I got some Wii games, a LOTs of Pokemon cards and EyeClops, the amazing microscope that magnifies 200 times.

The basic stats for the Pokemon-Unicorn, Rapidash are : TYPE: Fire (Fire Horse), height, 5′7″, wt. 209 lbs. It can gallop as fast as 150 miles an hour and it can reach the top speed within just 10 steps!

I must have been a good girl this year, because I am getting the games that I wanted and then some.
I played the Cooking Mama game with my mom today and we had a great time.
