Tried Montessori school over the summer

I tried the Montessori school over the summer time but didn’t enjoy it as much. This was a summer session and I was a new kid in the group there so I didn’t feel connected.

I had fun there though! I met a nice girl who had just arrived from Korea, she was 11 or 12 years old but since she was just learning English, her speech was cute baby like and we instantly got along. I taught her a few things and we played together. I also had another friend, Suchi, there and we always had lunch together.

My parents wanted to see if I was interested in attending the Montessori school next year; but looks like the answer is clear.

Sorry Ms.. Maria Montessori, don’t feel bad; my dad told me a lot about you and all the things you have done for teaching kids. You are a great woman!

I still had one more week to go there, but since I wasn’t thrilled about it, my parents decided to have me attend the YMCA camp instead; YMCA camp has a trip to Disneyland next Wednesday so that would be fun!

Another reason I like the YMCA camp is that there are about 10 counselors and each one of them knows and teaches something special. They set up a station and then you go from one station to another. So chances that you will find something that you like are very high.
