Raging fun at Raging Waters
Yesterday, for the YMCA field trip of the week, we went to Raging Waters. There, it’s like, water every where.
The first ride that we went on, was not exactly, a ride; it was a part of a gigantic water playground. The ride, went down, then to the right, and SPLASHHHHHHH! And water comes over your face. We did that a couple of times.

Then we started the real rides. The first one was called the Black Hole! As you know, black holes are black, because it absorbs everything, so even the light can’t come out. You have to go on a two person tube, to go on the ride.

First, you go in a couple of cork screws but thankfully it is not pitch dark there. It has a couple of lights every few feet. Then there is an opening on the side and AHHHHHHHHHHH, you go down…, then you land in a shallow pool, where you pass your tube to the next person in the line. May be it was called Dark Hole, it seemed like Black hole to me.
The next ride that we went on, was called Raging Racers.

In raging racer, you are sitting on a mat, head first, and you race down huge curves on a water slide. And at the bottom there was one that water shot out of the ground, and I thought the ride was over. But there was one more curve and I was not ready for it… so I went AHHHHHHHHH!

This ride was different from the others, because you had to sit in raft, which would carry five people. In this ride, we went on turns and if your back was faced to the wall, the raft, would be partially on the wall. In this ride, I was sitting with Lilly, Audrie, and a councellor named Berlyn.
Then it was the Dragon’s Den!

In this ride, there was one down side; there was an extremely long line to get on this one.
First, you are on the top; you go straight a little bit and then down in to a tunnel…AHHHHHHHHHH! Then you go inside this place and it circles around and then you go in to a smaller place and in to a small waterfall, and land inside a shallow pool; and sometimes the life guard pours water on you.
Isn’t it funny, he is supposed to save us, but he is pouring water on us using his megaphone!!!!

This was not a ride; it was an obstacle course. I tried to cross it, but my hands hurt, and the person before me kept swinging the rope, so I couldn’t get on to the next pad. So I fell in the water; but it was pretty shallow, so I could walk across.
I would give four “AHHHHHHH’ to black hole, I would give three AHHHHHHs to raging racers and four AHHHHHHs to thunder rapids, and three AHHHHHs to Dragon’s Den!
Whoooo, that’s a lot of AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHs.

It was a raging fun outing; perfect for a hot summer day in Southern California.
