hi! whats up people?!! im in summer camp as you know, and this week i went to the OC county fair.
It was great! We had brought lunch from home, so we sat down and had our lunches. After that we bought tickets for the rides and games,(i spent $15 on tickets). $1 for every 2 tickets! That day was an awesome day because all rides were 2 tickets!! Then we started having real fun!!
So the first ride we went on, was the mini fun house. As you enter the fun house, it has a glass maze; so if you go the wrong way, you might knock into glass!! And if you go the right way, then you can go up a flight of stairs, leading to the slide at the top. This slide was short but fast, I almost got a burn!
Then we went on a ride called Cyclone. Cyclone has 4 seats circled around each other hanging from a pole, and it has a little plate in the center so it looks like 4 chairs around a table. It spun around and around, and as you turned the center plate, it would make it turn on its own axis. It was fun and I didn’t even feel dizzy!
The next ride that we went on, was a ride called spaceship 2000 or something like that(i may be wrong.) The spaceship was cool because it spun so fast you stuck to the wall. One guy even got stuck sideways!!! That was cool and it sticks to my mind!
The next ride was the swing or something(I’m positive I’m wrong on this one) — it was just one of those two seaters which spins around going higher and higher, kind of like a tether ball being hit.
Then we went on the big fun house. This was definitely called Moscow circus. The big fun house has a bunch of things like a board that tilts side to side when you step on it, shifting stairs, a conveyor belt and more. At the top there is a big twisty slide in it. I flipped over, so i was going headfirst. Then i flipped back and came out sideways and got a bruise on my elbow. That part wasn’t very fun but it was still awesome!
Then we went on a ride which was like Cyclone, but much more chaotic. That was easily the worst ride of the day! Then there was the g force ride (i didn’t go on this) so i cant tell u about it. Then we went on tilt-a-whirl, a ride that goes on a wavy bottom that tilts and whirls.

After that, we went on this ride that looks like a dragon, it has stuff on the side that when u go backwards it has so much pressure it goes over your head.
Last but not least, we went on Hydro Slide, a water ride that has two channels that are full of water and you slide down. And boy, that did cool us down! Then there were the games like dart in a balloon, ring a bottle and many other usual games that you find at a fair.
So as you can see i had a great time at the OC county fair. I recommend this to all people who like fun!!!
It was a beautiful day out and we went to the Deukmejian park for a hike and to practice my “new” dirt bike. Its not really a new bike, its just that I haven’t really haven’t had a chance to take it out for a spin in a while. It is supposed to be a dirt bike, but it hasn’t gotten very dirty yet!
I am still learning the gear system and have trouble going up on a steep incline and making sharp right turns, but it will come to me pretty soon!
I just looove riding the bike though! The wind gently slapping against my face – it feels sooo good!
The Action shot.
With all my friends.
Well, pictures tell you the whole story; I had a great time at the Holi festival.
Holi festival – or the festival of colors – is one of the funnest Indian festival and I always look forward to participating in it.
We did some improvised snow sledding at the Mt. Baldy last year and it was kind of fun.
This year, there was a LOT of snow, so we figured we might do snow tubing!
We started out at about 11.00 am, went to McD for some fuel and warmth that we would need and in an hour we were approaching Mt. Baldy. We didn’t see any snow on the way or on the road, but as soon as we got to Mt. Baldy town, there was snow everywhere.
Traffic was very heavy and we could hardly move; cars were parked on both sides of the road and in the divider on the road. Lots of families taking their picnic lunch, blankets and snow sleds and finding good spots to ice sled!
There were several signs that said that if you are going to park on the street, you need to get a permit from the CA park department.
We marched along and got to the Mt. Baldy chair lift place . And the people at the chair lift were also selling parking at the spot for $5.00.
We had taken 4-5 sleds with us so if we wanted to, we could have just parked there and gone sledding. But we felt little more adventurous and decided to go for Snow tubing.
One of my friend, K., had never been on the ski lift before but she was very brave and it didn’t phase her.

I like snow; when you look at all the white stuff all around you, it seems like you are in a dream.
When we got up there, it was COOOOOOLLLLLLLDDDDD. Much colder than we expected it to be. But there was plenty of snow around.
We quickly went in to the cafeteria and warmed ourselves up and then went down to the snow tubing place. They all gave us tickets that we were supposed to put on our jackets.
We did a few trips on the snow tubing and it was a great deal of fun. I think if it wasn’t that cold, and if the place wasn’t as crowded, we might have stayed there longer and enjoyed it a bit more.
We quickly went back to the cafeteria and got some hot chocolate. There is nothing more warming than a cup of hot chocolate when you are very very cold.

They also had a little stove in the cafeteria and my dad toasted the gloves and the hats on the stove and it felt so so good.
Then we went down on the ski lift and suddenly felt this white powder falling. For a moment we thought it was artificial snow, but it was actually real snow coming down…. Sitting on the ski lift, going down with snow falling was very dreamy.
Here are my suggestions; if there is a lot of snow, you can just go to the Mt. Baldy area, get a parking permit and park on the side and you will find a lot of good sledding areas all around. Or you can just go to the end and park at the Snow lift area at Mt. Baldy. Or you can go up and take the ski lift; and if you can carry a sled with you, you can have fun with that.
It was cold, but enjoyed ourselves; and then we even did a slumber party, where we played on the DS, the computer and had a Pizza Party!
I made my first video game – at Sim Carnival.
First I tried a couple of pre-made games and just changed and tweaked the timing of various actions but now I am in to making real games.
I made this game where you are the alien and you want to take over the world; the first game action that I added was that you get to move a UFO around and every time you hit a human, that human’s body becomes 25%of its original size.
It worked for a while but then instead of shrinking, the human kept growing bigger.

It does look very complicated but I understood the steps – they have also made is simple with “if” and “then” rules.
I like it so far. I’ll let you know when I complete the game and then you can download it.
I went to the invention convention last week. My entry was Magneto hands free safety door. I even made a working model.
It was pretty neat. I put super strong magnets on the door with the same poles facing each other, so they will repel. That way, you can never close the door and kids room stays open and they don’t get their fingers caught in the door. That is the safety part.
On the other side of the door I also put a magnet with south pole facing out. Then using a ring with south pole exposed, I could push the door without touching it. That is the hands free part.
My entry got second prize at the invention convention; not bad!
I didn’t realize that one could also make a rube goldberg machine. I think that would have been a lot of fun. Oh well, may be next year!
At my comedy classes, at the end I need to do a character; and this time I chose Sarah Palin. I know, I don’t look like her, but I put on some glasses and said “I am a maverick…” and there I was – as Sarah Palin – better than Tina Fey!
Some of the lines I used:
She announced that she might run for governor of California because it is too cold in Alaska and she can see Mexico from California.
Don’t tell anybody, but I, Sarah Palin, secretly voted for Obama.
My economic plan is to take everything that we own and put it on ebay!
Am I gonna run again? you betcha..!!
Nintendo DS has a new model called Nintendo DSi and it comes with a camera. Here is a video of all the cool things it can do.
* deform heads into candy corn shapes!
* surround subjects with happy flowers and hearts!
* magically change the color of your subject’s shirt!
* create a kaleidoscope effect!
* give someone’s face that blur effect from The Ring!
* combine the features of your friends to see what the combo will look like.
* class up your pictures with a frame!
The funniest one is the one where you can take a sound and turn in to as if a chipmunk was singing it.
It comes with a software called DSi Camera and DSi Sound.
I made my first spore creature called UniBiter. I put random things on it, such as, a feather, a horn, two spiky balls, two flippers and I painted it light blue to dark blue.
It looks really wiered and strange! I put these wiered things on the side because they were the strongest. I put the flippers because they looked cool and I thought may be my UniBiter could swim!
Here are my ratings:
Disney Land : 6 Starts
Castaic Lake Camping : 7 stars
Raging Waters : 8.5 stars!
Any questions?
